Our story
Fifteen years of knowing what grows where.
Anastasia has been designing plant spaces since 2011, when she started working with the first of two award-winning floral and plant design studios in Boston. After moving to Boulder with her family in 2017, Plants Y'all took root.
What started as a one-woman operation styling friends' living rooms grew, slowly and on purpose, into a studio with 200+ installations throughout Colorado and beyond. Every project still passes through Anastasia's hands from the first walk-through to the last leaf placed on install day.
Anastasia has several years of experience sourcing and installing high-end faux plant options as well. Sometimes a space simply doesn't get enough light. In other cases, restaurant traffic demands something more durable, or a full wall of greenery creates a maintenance challenge. No matter what the situation, there are always captivating plant options Anastasia can show you.
Before we met Anastasia, our plants were a hot mess. She rehabilitated our plants and has transformed our home into a lush and serene oasis of happy, healthy plants.
How we work
Let's bring your space to life.
Every project starts with a walk-through. Anastasia takes photos and measurements, asks how the space is used, and looks at the small things: air flow, lighting, who waters when, and foot traffic, including pets! Proposals include in-depth designs and options, with no detail overlooked.
We source from local growers when possible and from a small set of national partners when we cannot. Planters are chosen from a vast network of retailers and manufacturers: matte ceramic for a modern living room, hand-thrown stoneware for a craftsman bungalow, or hammered brass when a client's space is already warm and metallic.
After the project, we can take care of the maintenance, which guarantees the plants stay healthy. Or we're happy to provide a one-page care guide and help out on request. Either way, the goal is the same: we aim to make your space special for years to come.
